Welcome!!!

Welcome to the newly revamped wittfootball.com.

This offseason I have finally gotten around to a long overdue overhaul of the site. I have converted to a news portal format that will not only make it easier for me to post news about Wittenberg football, but it will also allow you, the visitor, to post your own stories. In addition, you can comment on stories posted by others. I have also upgraded to the discussion boards and the picture and video gallery.

New features on the discussion boards include the following:
  • Polls can be easily added to posts
  • Email notification of replies to your topics
  • Powerful topic subscription capability
  • Emoticons to portray emotions
  • Personal profile creation
  • Post counting and administrator-definable ranks for users
  • Email-like private messaging system
  • Supports local, remote and uploadable avatars

  • The new gallery features slideshow display, popularity tracking, online polling, public commenting and a whole lot more.

All of these features, plus a whole lot more, can be accessed by clicking on the links in the Module section to the left. Additional features will become available after you create your own personalized wittfootball.com account.

My purpose for doing all this is to make the site easier to maintain, but I also hope that it makes it enjoyable for you. So please take a look around and let me know what you think. I look forward to your feedback.
